8 Day - Fly-in, permanent tented camp safari

Day 1: Johannesburg - Victoria Falls / Livingstone - Chobe National Park
Fly from Johannesburg into either Victoria Falls (Zimbabwe) or Livingstone (Zambia) from where you are transferred by road to Kasane on the Chobe River (+- 1½ - 2 hours). Accommodation at the Mowana Safari Lodge on a dinner bed and breakfast basis, including 2 game activities per day (game drive in 4x4 vehicle or game viewing river cruise)

 

Day 2: Chobe National Park
Mowana Safari Lodge offers a luxurious escape in the African wilderness. Built on the banks or the Chobe River, the lodge offers luxury en-suite rooms with balconies over-looking the river and Caprivi floodplains. Relax by the pool, or indulge in a sundowner at the Savuti bar. Accommodation at the Mowana Safari Lodge on a dinner bed and breakfast basis, including 2 game activities per day (game drive in 4x4 vehicle or game viewing river cruise)

 

Day 3: Chobe National Park - Livingstone
You are transferred by road and river from the Mowana Safari Lodge in Botswana to the Stanley Safari Lodge in Livingstone, Zambia (+- 1½ - 2 hours). Accommodation at the Stanley Safari Lodge on a dinner, bed and breakfast basis.

 

Day 4: Livingstone
The eight individually designed cottages of the Stanley Safari Lodge afford unique views across the Mosi-oa-Tunya National Park to the mighty Zambezi River and the Victoria Falls. Dine under the stars on the lawns of the main house or in the privacy of your cottage. Accommodation at the Stanley Safari Lodge on a dinner, bed and breakfast basis

 

Day 5: Livingstone - Lower Zambezi
A short road transfer will take you from Stanley Safari Lodge to Livingstone Airport to join your light aircraft charter to Lusaka (+- 1½ hours). On arrival in Lusaka you are transferred to another aircraft for a short 30-minute flight over the Lower Zambezi escarpment to Royal Airstrip. On arrival at Royal you are be met by a representative from Kiubo Camp who will transfer you by road to the Lodge. Accommodation at Kiubo Camp on a full board basis including 2 activities per day.

 

Days 6 & 7: Lower Zambezi
Kiubo Camp is situated on the northern banks of the Zambezi River under a canopy of magnificent African Ebony and Tamarind trees. This exclusive tented camp comprises eight tastefully decorated twin-bedded en-suite safari tents with private verandas. The main thatched lounge / dining room / bar provides excellent river sightings of wildlife and excellent cuisine in a secluded bush setting. The many activities include game viewing in 4x4 vehicles and by boat; day and night game drives; as well as canoeing and fishing. Accommodation at Kiubo Camp on a full board basis including 2 activities per day.

 

Day 8: Lower Zambezi Via Lusaka - Johannesburg
After breakfast you are transferred by road to Royal airstrip (+- 20 minutes) for your light aircraft charter back to Lusaka Airport (+- 30 minutes), arriving in time for the departure of your Lusaka to Johannesburg flight.
