Day 1: Antananarivo
Meet and greet on arrival at the airport and transfer to la Varangue or Palissandre Hotel. Dinner and Overnight La Varangue or Palissandre Hotel.(D)

Day 2: Antananarivo – Périnet/Andasibe Reserve
After breakfast depart to the Périnet/Andasibe Reserve. After lunch there will be a visit the Special Reserve of the Indri, Madagascar’s largest Lemur. In the evening before dinner enjoy a night walk looking for the many nocturnal creatures present in the Vakona Reserve. Dinner and Overnight Vakona Forest Lodge.(BLD)

Day 3: Périnet/Andasibe Reserve
In the morning you will visit the Special Reserve of the Indri or Mantadia National Park (depending on road conditions). In the afternoon there will be a visit to Lemur Island, this is a small sanctuary where rescued and no longer wanted pet lemurs live in a semi wild state (the ones that were former pets are quite tame). An optional night walk is available. Dinner and Overnight Vakona Forest Lodge.(BLD)

Day 4: Périnet – Manambato - Akanin’ny Nofy
An early departure takes you to Manambato, a village in the edge of the Lake Rasoabe; on the Canal des Pangalanes where you will embark by boat, after an hour you enter Lake Ampitabe where the Bushhouse Hotel is located. You will have lunch at the hotel and there are a wide range of excursions available from the hotel. Dinner and Overnight Bushhouse Hotel.(BLD)

Day 5: Akanin’ny Nofy
Enjoy optional excursions either on foot or by boat such as: the private reserve of Ansirakalaloty, ‘The Palmarium’- an escorted visit of several species of lemurs and also stunning flora - the typical Betsimisaraka’s village, a school under the care of the Bushhouse Hotel or the fishermen’s village. Dinner and Overnight BushHouse Hotel.(BLD)

Day 6: Akanin’ny Nofy – Tamatave
Transfer by boat to Tamatave by crossing the Pangalanes canal (about 2 hours). After disembarkation in Tamatave you will transfer to the airport for your flight back to Antananarivo and onward arrangements. There are several extension tours on offer to ensure you see even more of Madagascar, but certainly one not to be missed is the paradise island of St Marie. Enquire with us for details.
