Days 7 & 8: Masai Mara
Spend the days in the Masai Mara with morning and afternoon game drives. Introduce yourself to the large herds of plains game and the numerous predators which have made the reserve so famous. Masai Mara is also home to the renowned black-maned lion. Overnight atKichwa Tembo Camp on full board basis.

Day 9: Nairobi
After breakfast, fly back to Nairobi where you connect with your home bound flight. In the event of a late evening departure, an optional day room can be reserved for you to relax and freshen up before you transfer to the airport. 


Day 1: Nairobi
Arrive at Nairobi International Airport, Kenya where you are met and transferred to your hotel for overnight.
The Norfolk Hotel or equivalent on bed and breakfast basis

Day 2: Tsavo West
In the morning, drive to Tsavo West National Park and Finch Hattons luxury tented camp, where you have lunch. Afterwards, an afternoon game drive may be rewarded with sightings of the great elephant herds, lesser kudu, lion or cheetah.
Overnight at Finch Hattons on full board basis.

Day 3: Tsavo West
Enjoy a full day in Tsavo with morning and afternoon game drives. Tsavo offers some of the most magnificent game viewing in the world – vast herds of dust-red elephant, fat pods of hippo, giant crocodile, teeming herds of plains game, a fantasia of bird life and some magical flora. The lush, hippo-inhabited pools of Mzima Springs, fed daily by 250 million litres of water gushing from the lava flows of the Chyulu hills, provide an oasis of green, an under-water hippo-viewing chamber, two nature trails and some unique picnic spots. Overnight at Finch Hattons on full board basis. 

Day 4: Amboseli
After breakfast, drive across Chyulu Hills and Shetani lava flow to Mzima Springs, where the underwater life of hippos and crocodiles can be observed. Continue to Amboseli National Park, arriving in time for lunch. After a rest period, a game drive in the park should enable you to encounter elephant, lion, cheetah and giraffe. Overnight at Tortilis Camp on full board basis.  

Day 5: Amboseli
Enjoy a full day in Amboseli with morning and afternoon game drives.
Overnight at Tortilis Camps on full board basis.  

Day 6: Nairobi - Masai Mara
After breakfast, drive back to Nairobi where you have lunch at the Carnivore Restaurant where all kinds of game meat can be tasted. In the afternoon, transfer to the airport for your flight to Masai Mara. On landing, you will be met by your safari vehicle and driver, who will take you to Kichwa Tembo Tented Camp .Time permitting,  take a game-drive in this world-famous reserve. Offering an abundance of herbivores, the Mara makes the ideal hunting ground for Kenya’s famous ‘big cats’ and hosts her largest population of lions. It also offers the best chance of spotting a leopard in the wild. Other predators include cheetah and spotted hyena. Sundowners can be taken in camp, or in a scenic location, and are followed by dinner.

3 Days/2 Nights Gorilla Trekking

Turn your trip in search of the "Big Five" into a pursuit of the "Big Six" tracking the mountain gorillas of Rwanda.
Trek can be taken before or after the safari.
